Jourdan and Brandon's wedding at Union Station was a celebration of meaningful traditions, unforgettable experiences, and the unmistakable energy of Washington, DC.
Set within one of the city's most iconic landmarks, their wedding blended classic black-tie elegance with a modern, guest-centered approach to celebration. From thoughtfully curated details to a packed dance floor and late-night silent disco, every part of the day reflected their vision of a wedding that felt elevated, personal, and genuinely fun.
One of the things that made this wedding so memorable was its strong sense of place. Union Station's grand architecture and historic character provided a stunning backdrop while remaining deeply connected to the rhythm and energy of the city itself. From portraits overlooking some of Washington's most recognizable landmarks to an evening celebration filled with movement and excitement, the location became part of the story.
Throughout the day, Jewish traditions were woven seamlessly into the celebration, creating a meaningful foundation while allowing space for the couple's personalities to shine. The result was a wedding that felt timeless and modern all at once—honoring tradition without feeling constrained by it.
More than anything, Jourdan and Brandon approached their wedding as an experience to be shared. Every chapter of the day offered something new to discover, creating a celebration that felt dynamic, welcoming, and intentionally designed around their guests. From exceptional food and cocktails to immersive entertainment and thoughtful personal touches, the focus remained on creating moments people would remember long after the evening ended.
As the celebration unfolded, guests moved effortlessly from one experience to the next, embracing every opportunity to connect, celebrate, and fully enjoy the day. There was an undeniable sense of excitement throughout the wedding—one that reflected not only the significance of the occasion but also the joy of bringing together family and friends from different parts of their lives.
I loved photographing this wedding because it reflected something I believe deeply about modern celebrations: the most meaningful weddings are the ones that feel authentically personal. Whether through family traditions, shared passions, cultural influences, or thoughtfully curated experiences, the details that matter most are the ones that tell a story.
Years from now, Jourdan and Brandon will remember the iconic Washington backdrop, the incredible atmosphere, and the moments that made their wedding their own.
But most of all, they'll remember how it felt—to be fully present, surrounded by the people they love, celebrating the beginning of a new chapter together.

She was so attentive and was a pleasure to bounce ideas off of. We loved getting engagement photos which really helped us feel comfortable for the wedding! And on the big day, OMG. Anna and her team were on it! The cherry on top was that during the reception Anna brought us a printed picture from earlier in the day, and it was UNREAL. I can’t say enough good things about our experience!
