A Chic, City-Style Jewish Wedding in the Heart of Washington, DC

A modern Jewish wedding at Union Station — immersive, design-driven, and unmistakably rooted in the energy of Washington, DC.

Jourdan and Brandon’s celebration was a reflection of their love for food, travel, and thoughtfully curated experiences. Set within the grand architecture of Union Station, their wedding balanced classic formality with a distinctly modern sensibility — transforming one of the city’s most iconic landmarks into an intimate, high-energy celebration.

The day unfolded with a strong sense of place. From custom details and personalized touches to a carefully considered flow through Union Station’s expansive interiors, each moment felt intentional and experiential rather than performative. The ceremony honored Jewish tradition while allowing space for contemporary design and movement, grounding the celebration in meaning while keeping it fresh and dynamic.

Photography for this wedding focused on editorial clarity and spatial awareness — capturing both the scale of the venue and the human moments within it. Portraits leaned into clean lines and architectural framing, while candid images preserved the rhythm of the day: the hum of conversation, the clink of glasses, and the energy that builds when a room is fully engaged.
Food and atmosphere played a central role throughout the evening. From inventive cocktail hour offerings to a lively silent disco after-party, the celebration unfolded as a series of connected experiences — each one building on the last without disrupting the overall flow.

to document the celebration with restraint, awareness, and respect for both tradition and design — allowing the environment, the people, and the experience to speak for themselves.
