Who will photograph our wedding?

I will be your lead photographer and primary point of contact throughout the entire process. Depending on the scale and scope of your celebration, I’m joined by one to three members of Team ASP.

Each team member is personally vetted and guided by me to ensure the experience and imagery reflect the same level of care, intention, and artistry you see throughout my work. We photograph as a cohesive unit, allowing your gallery to feel seamless from start to finish.

Do you require a full-service wedding planner?

Yes. I work exclusively with experienced, full-service wedding planners.

A planner protects the flow of the day, manages logistics, and ensures the experience remains calm and intentional. This allows me to focus fully on photographing your celebration with care and depth. When everyone is working in alignment, the result is a smoother experience and stronger imagery — especially during complex, multi-layered celebrations.

What does your photographic process look like, from capture to final edit?

My team and I primarily photograph using top-of-the-line digital equipment, allowing for consistency, flexibility, and timely delivery. Select moments may also be captured on film when it enhances the story.

Every gallery includes a thoughtful balance of color and black & white imagery. While color sets the tone and atmosphere, black & white images distill emotion, light, and connection in a timeless way.

All final images are edited to reflect my artistic vision, color philosophy, and standards. While trusted professionals may assist behind the scenes, every gallery is cohesive, intentional, and held to the same level of care as the work you see throughout my portfolio.

Should we create a shot list?

I don’t require a shot list for creative moments. Instead, we’ll discuss priorities ahead of time so your gallery reflects what matters most to you.

The only list I request is for family groupings, which helps portraits move smoothly and efficiently on the wedding day. Trust allows space for authenticity — and ensures nothing meaningful is missed.

What if it rains or the timeline shifts?

Weather and timing are simply elements we plan for. I work closely with your planner to build thoughtful backup plans that preserve both the experience and the imagery.

Because I prepare in advance and remain adaptable on the day itself, changes are handled calmly and efficiently — without disrupting the rhythm of the celebration. Beautiful photographs happen regardless of conditions, often in ways that feel even more meaningful.

When will we receive our photos, and how many will there be?

You’ll receive a curated sneak peek shortly after your wedding, followed by a full gallery delivered within 7–8 weeks.

Rather than limiting image counts, I focus on telling the complete story of your day. Most galleries average 70–100 images per hour, depending on the flow of events, with every image intentionally edited and thoughtfully selected.

Collections are customized to reflect the needs of each celebration. Wedding photography collections typically begin at $10,000, with couples investing more when including extended coverage, multi-day events, or heirloom products.

After an initial conversation, I’ll guide you toward options that best support your wedding weekend — thoughtfully, transparently, and without pressure.

What happens if you’re sick or there’s an emergency?

Preparation and contingency planning are essential to the way I work.

In the unlikely event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, you would be cared for by a trusted photographer of equal caliber and style from my team. This is something I plan for long before it’s ever needed — so you never have to worry.

What level of investment should we expect?

How do we reserve our date?

Once availability is confirmed, your date is reserved with a signed contract and retainer. From that point forward, your date is held exclusively for you.

I take on a limited number of weddings each year to ensure every couple receives a high-touch, fully present experience.

How many weddings do you take each year?

I intentionally limit the number of weddings I take on each season. This allows me to remain fully present, creatively invested, and deeply supportive throughout every stage of the process — from planning through delivery.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. While Washington, D.C. is home base, I regularly photograph weddings throughout the Mid-Atlantic, New England, and select destinations within the U.S. and abroad.
